Vein Canalization

$150$399

Vein cannulation, also known as intravenous cannulation or venous access, is a medical procedure in which a needle or catheter is inserted into a vein in the body to administer fluids, medications, blood or other products directly into the bloodstream. This procedure is performed in order to provide an efficient access route to the bloodstream, allowing rapid and controlled administration of substances needed for medical treatment.

Vein cannulation is used in a variety of medical situations, such as administration of intravenous fluids for rehydration of dehydrated patients, delivery of medications, blood transfusion, administration of parenteral nutrition, obtaining blood samples for laboratory testing, and monitoring central venous pressure, among other uses.

The procedure is usually performed by trained medical or nursing personnel, and an appropriate vein, usually in the arm, forearm or hand, is selected for insertion of the needle or catheter. Once venous access has been achieved, the necessary treatments can be administered safely and effectively. Vein cannulation is a common technique and is fundamental in modern medical care to provide therapies and care to patients.
