In this advanced course we will address anatomical and physiological processes in the body’s natural process to eliminate toxins and other waste substances through Lymphatic Drainage, this mechanism is manually stimulated to enhance its beneficial effects.
In a surgery or liposuction after the intervention, the body has to purify and eliminate a series of elements and lymphatic massages can contribute positively. The lymphatic system is responsible for transporting lymph, a liquid composed of white blood cells, especially lymphocytes, and a liquid from the intestines, called chyle, which contains proteins and fats. It is part of the immune system and its functions include regulating the circulatory system, eliminating toxins, fighting infections and regulating the balance of body fluids.

Lymphatic drainage is a type of massage applied to different areas of the body to improve lymph circulation, thus helping to eliminate edema and waste substances accumulated in the fluid between the body’s cells. It is a soft and light massage that stimulates the contraction of the lymphatic vessels and is used to combat fluid retention, cellulite, circulatory problems, acne, etc.
